We offer a broad portfolio of high quality products including surfactants, oleochemicals (fatty acids, alcohol & amines), esters, biocides, flavours and UV absorbers for personal care & plastics. We also offer corrosion inhibitors, hydrophobic silicas, paper chemicals, phenol, vitamins for personal care and vegetable oils, all sourced from our first class partners and suppliers in Europe, Asia and USA.Our business was established in 1880 in the Baltic region to manufacture and trade in Pine Tars and other products derived from charcoal. In 1918 we relocated to the UK and later we became part of the Willington Group. Since then, we have diversified in many markets and significantly expanded our product portfolio to include a wide range of chemicals. Our company has grown organically, through acquisitions and by developing a network of distributors. The most important acquisitions for our company have been in 2000, with Pointing Chemicals and F Holm Chemie GmbH, although Holm has been subsequently sold. In 2006 we acquired the business of Himar Performance Specialities Ltd, which enabled us to expand into Surfactants and Antimicrobials for markets such as Pharmaceuticals, Personal Care & Household.
